  • Turn off the water supply.
  • Remove the old shower arm.
  • Prepare the shower arm threads and wall opening.
  • Install the new shower arm. Screw the new shower arm threaded end into the pipe coming out of the wall, turning clockwise by hand as far as possible.
  • Then, tighten further using a wrench avoiding overtightening.
  • Slide the flange (the circular plate) over the shower arm until it sits flush against the wall.
